Scholarship Awarded
United Electric Co-op awarded the $500 nontraditional scholarship to Kelsie Martinez. Kelsie attends College of Southern Idaho’s Dental Hygiene program. Congrats, Kelsie!
Easy, Convenient Payment Options
Our member payment kiosk is available 24 hours just inside the front doors of the UEC office foyer.
Drop box payments are picked up only once a day after opening hours. Leaving cash in the drop box is never a good idea. Instead, use a check or money order. The drive-thru window is always open during office hours as well. Cash payments should only be made at the front desk, the kiosk or at the drive-thru window.
Want to Make a Scheduled Payment? Now You Can!
UEC members are able to schedule payments in advance by using SmartHub. This feature allows members to choose what day they want their payments to be processed and schedule them to be withdrawn from their bank accounts without having to log back into SmartHub on the selected day to process the payment.
Just remember that scheduling a payment is not a payment arrangement. Members must call the office to make an arrangement if the payment is scheduled after the due date. If this is not done, the account is subject to late fees and disconnection.
For questions, call the office at (208) 679-2222.
Project Share
As winter approaches, consider donating an extra $1 to Project Share when you pay your electric bills. Funds collected for this program are forwarded to the Salvation Army in Boise and help families in need of emergency heating assistance.
To participate, just add $1 to your payment amount and check the box at the top of your statement. An easy way to contribute is to ask us to bill your donation as a line item on your statement. This way, you do not have to think about checking the box or adding the dollar, and we are saved an extra transaction in the office. Call (208) 679-2222 to set up your contribution to Project Share.
UEC extends a thank-you to all members who participate in this program.
Office Closure
UEC offices are closed Monday, September 7, for Labor Day. Have a happy and safe holiday!
