United Electric Announcements – September 2024

Scholarship Awarded

The $500 nontraditional scholarship was awarded to Kalvin Robinson. Kalvin is enrolled at Prime Line Academy in Heyburn to become a lineman.

Did You Know?

We now have a kiosk available 24 hours a day for you to make a payment. The kiosk is inside the front doors in the foyer. Drop box payments are picked up only once a day after opening time.

Leaving cash in the drop box is never a good idea. Instead, use a check or money order. The drive-thru window is open during office hours. Cash payments should only be made at the front desk, the kiosk, or the drive-thru window.

Want to Make a Scheduled Payment? Now You Can.

United Electric members are now able to schedule payments in advance through SmartHub. This feature lets members choose what day they want their payment to be processed and schedule when the payment is taken out of their bank account without having to log back into SmartHub on the selected day to process the payment.

Remember that scheduling a payment is not a payment arrangement. Members must call the office to make an arrangement if the payment is scheduled after the due date. If this is not done, the account is subject to late fees and disconnect.

For additional questions, call the office at (208) 679-2222.

Project Share

As winter approaches, consider donating an extra $1 to Project Share when you pay your electric bills.

Funds collected for this program are forwarded to the Salvation Army in Boise to help families in need of emergency heating assistance.

To participate, add $1 to your payment amount and check the box at the top of your statement. An easy way to contribute is to ask us to bill your donation as a line item on your statement. That way, you do not have to think about checking the box or adding the dollar, and we save an extra transaction in the office. Call us at (208) 679-2222.

Thank you to all who participated in this program.
