Your Donations at Work
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of United Electric Co-op members, our mitten tree was loaded again.
Your donations are helping children stay warm this winter. We delivered hats, gloves, scarves, coats, socks, and afghans to local elementary schools. Donated pantry items were delivered to local food banks. Thank you for giving this holiday season.
Are You or a Member of Your Household on Life Support?
United Electric must occasionally perform maintenance on power lines and equipment, which may require a planned power outage.
While we recognize this is a hindrance to all members, it is especially hard on those who require life support. If you or a member of your household is on life support, notify the co-op by calling the office at (208) 679-2222. We will add a note on your file to ensure you receive a phone call when an outage is planned.
Not all outages can be planned, and some may last longer than expected. United Electric strongly recommends that members on life support maintain a sufficient backup supply of medical equipment that may be needed in times of outages.
