Mitten Tree & Food Collection for the Holidays
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of United Electric Co-op members, our mitten tree was loaded again. Your donations will help children stay warmer this winter.
We delivered hats, gloves, scarves, coats, socks, and afghans to Acequia Elementary School.
Members also donated grocery items that were delivered to Open Hearts Food Pantry, operated by United Methodist Church. Thank you for giving this year.
Is Someone in Your Household on Life Support?
Occasionally, United Electric must perform maintenance on power lines and equipment, which may require a planned power outage. Although this is a temporary hindrance to all members, it is especially hard on those who require life support.
If you or another member in your household is on life support, please notify us by calling the office at (208) 679-2222. A note is made on the member’s file to ensure they receive a phone call when an outage is planned.
Not all outages can be planned, and some may last longer than expected. United Electric strongly recommends that members of life support maintain a sufficient backup supply of medical equipment that may be needed in times of outages.
