Annual Meeting Appreciation Event
- Registration for the meeting and door prizes begin at 10 a.m.
- The business meeting and movie begin at 11 a.m.
- Members will have the opportunity to vote if there is a contested election. Voting will be closed at 1 p.m.
United Electric Co-op Election News
2 directors will be elected during the Annual Meeting of the Members of United Electric Co-op on Friday, March 15. Directors whose terms expire are Dean Nielson and Brent Bowen.
Election Petitions
The bylaws require formal petitions for election to the board of directors to be filed at least 28 days prior to the meeting.
Petitions are available in the office and must be signed by five members of the corporation.
Completed petitions must be received in the office no later than 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, and must be accompanied by a short biography plus a head-and-shoulders photograph.
Voting
If United Electric has a contested director seat, members will have the ability to vote vote electronically, in person or by mail.
