Member Appreciation at UEC
Dear Members of United Electric,
Happy New Year! The big event the board of directors and staff of United Electric Co-op look forward to each year is our annual meeting. This important meeting occurs in March and provides you with the opportunity to vote on members of the board, bylaw changes or updates, hear messages regarding the state of the cooperative, and have a chance to win great prizes.
From time to time, we try to elevate the annual meeting into something even better. This year, United Electric’s annual meeting will include a Member Appreciation Event. On March 15, United Electric members and their immediate families are invited to attend a family-friendly movie at Century Cinema 5 in Burley, Idaho. Snacks and drinks will be provided, along with an opportunity to win several great prizes. In addition to having a great time, members of United Electric can learn more about the cooperative’s business, interact with employees and discuss matters with the board. If an election is held, members will be able to cast their ballots, if they have not already voted using United Electric’s online system.
Announcement of election results, if necessary, and formal presentations from the board president and general manager will be made available online following the regular monthly meeting of the board of directors in March.
We look forward to meeting with our members each year, and we hope you mark your calendars to join us on March 15. More details will come as we prepare to see everyone at the annual meeting and Member Appreciation Event coming this spring.
