The big event the board of directors and staff of United Electric Co-op look forward to each year is our annual meeting. This meeting is March 14 and provides you with the opportunity to vote on members of the co-op board, bylaw changes or updates, hear messages regarding the state of the cooperative, and have a chance to win great prizes.
Like last year, United Electric’s annual meeting will include a Member Appreciation Event. United Electric members and their immediate families are invited to attend a family-friendly movie on March 14 at Century Cinema 5 in Burley. Snacks and drinks are provided, and members have the opportunity to win several great prizes.
Co-op members also learn more about the cooperative’s business, meet and speak with employees, and discuss matters with the board. If an election is held, members are able to cast their ballots in person if they have not already voted using United Electric’s online system.
Announcement of election results, if an election is held, and formal presentations from the board president and general manager are made available online following the meeting.
