From veterinary medicine to writing, scholarship winners are excited about future careers.
Optimistic and excited about their futures, six recipients of United Electric Co-op’s $500 scholarships are planning their ideal careers, ranging from health care to writing.
4 memorial scholarships honor former managers: John Jones, Grant M. Saxton, Larry Burbank, and Ralph Williams.
The application period for the next round of scholarships is open. The completed scholarship application, a high school transcript, and a photo are due April 11. The nontraditional application is due June 6.
Applications can be found at the United Electric website or at your high school counselor’s office.
